Natural Resource Management

ARLES collaborates with DRDA and MGNREGA to build water conservation infrastructure, including bund plantations, percolation tanks, and bio-gas plants. These initiatives improve groundwater recharge, soil health, and waste management across 3 villages, benefiting 100+ community members.

Dairy Cluster Management

Training 50 dairy farmers in modern practices like balanced nutrition, fodder cultivation, and disease management. Partnerships with the District Veterinary Department ensure livestock health and increased milk production.

ARLES introduced biofloc technology to 5 fishermen in Kaddam and Mudhole mandals, boosting incomes by 40%. Workshops focus on sustainable fish farming and market linkages.

Promotion of Fish Farming

Horticulture Crop Promotion

Training 20 vegetable farmers in low-cost cultivation, organic pest management, and crop diversification. Collaborations with the Horticulture Department enhance yields and market access.

Climate-Adaptive Agriculture

Promoting organic turmeric farming in 10 villages using IPM and NPM techniques. Partnering with the Spices Board of India to reduce pesticide use and improve soil health.

Trained 180 women from 35 villages in sewing and entrepreneurship. Linked 60% to micro-loans for starting businesses.

Sewing & Garment-Making

Rural Impact

Tribal Handicrafts

Pilot training for 10 tribal women in bamboo and palm-leaf crafts. Plans to expand into cooperatives and online markets.

Farmer Producer Organizations

Supporting 1,000 farmers via FPOs with drone technology, bank linkages, and partnerships with NCDEX and agro-industries.

Improved school attendance for 600 children (250 girls) in 15 villages. Includes career guidance and parental awareness campaigns.

Grama Vidhya Education Program

Mission RELA: Hygiene & Livelihood

Installed sanitary pad vending machines and trained women in production. Reached 3,000+ women and 50 schools.

Forest Conservation

Reduced deforestation in 15 villages through native tree plantations and wildlife protection campaigns. Linked communities to MGNREGA jobs.
